Other things to know:

LOCATION: CLICK HERE FOR MAP - we are in the Souris River Valley - at a spot called Souris Bend, 40 minutes south of Brandon, located on PR #346 between HWY 23 & HWY 2. The camp entrance location will be marked with signs. If the weather is wet, an alternate spot may be required, just look for the signs.

RULES: In the fall the valley can be pretty dry, no open fires allowed, we ask that you please, please, please smoke with care. Otherwise, please exercise saftey and common curtiousy on all that you do. Horses and riders can be unpredictible, we often have green riders, and young children, be aware of your surroundings and of others. It will be most fun for all this way.

TYPE OF RIDING: The trails are ok for kids and novice riders, our guides will take you on the easy trails, mild hills and moderate terrain. All rides will cross the river if the water is low enough, which it usually is. It is safe to cross with kids and ponies, but our guides will show you where. The more challenging terrain can be pretty steep hills, requiring experienced horses, riders and checking of cinches, but can be a lot of fun. We ride these trails all the time, we're biased, but it really is some of the most beautiful riding in Manitoba! If you like this kind of riding, make sure you are hook up with the adventure ride guides! We will depart together, but split up for part of the ride.

Hope to see you there this year!!
